Course goals and objectives.
- Qualified system builder
- Qualified operating system installation/support specialist.
- Qualified network support technician.
- Have gained a genuine insight into the IT industry (DNS)
The course comprises of a total of eight papers which make up the certificate:
- Unit Standard 18752
- Unit Standard 6869
- Unit Standard 6870
- Unit Standard 6871
The above standards cover the 'hardware/system builder' component of the course, with a mixture of written and practical assessments.
- Unit Standard 6872
- Unit Standard 6836
The above standards cover the 'operating system installation/support' component, with a mixture of written and practical assessments.
- Unit Standard 6854
- Unit Standard 6865
The above standards cover the 'qualified network support technician' component with a mixture of written and practical assessments.
Students who achieve these standards will be eligible to take the CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network + international exams.
